Welcome to the office of Kenneth Zatz. Our goal is to provide respectful, personalized care in a peaceful, small office setting. We strive to promote wellness in your family by sharing information on healthy lifestyles. We look forward to partnering with you as your children grow from infancy through childhood to adulthood.
About Kenneth Zatz, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Kenneth Zatz received a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 1981. He went on to receive his M.D. from Cornell University Medical College in 1985 and completed his residency in general pediatrics at the New York Hospital, where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Zatz has been in private practice in Rockland County, New York since 1989 and is on the staff of Nyack Hospital. He has maintained his board certification in general pediatrics since 1989.
When not at work, Dr. Zatz enjoys running, hiking (with his dogs), yoga, and spending time with his two daughters. He also enjoys playing guitar and piano and hopes someday to master the ukulele.
Yvette Sims, NP
Yvette Sims is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in Adolescent and Women’s healthcare.
She believes in creating strong patient relationships to optimize health goals. When she is not delivering care to her patients, Yvette enjoys spending time with her family and practicing yoga.
Education and Training:

Office Policies
Please pay your copay at the time of your visit as required by your insurance company. For your convenience we accept cash, check, and most credit cards.
If payment is not made at the time of your visit, a surcharge will be added to your visit.
Our staff can assist you with many questions. If you would like to speak with the doctor or nurse practitioner, please leave a message and you will receive a call back either at midday or after 5:00. If you have a problem that requires more urgent attention, please inform our staff.
After hour calls: If you call after hours, the office answering machine will direct you to the on-call clinician.
Referrals: Our office is happy to obtain a referral for your child. Each insurance company has different requirements. Please allow us at least 48 hours advance notice for referrals and please provide us with name, date and identification number for the specialist are going to see.
Cancellation policy: If for some reason you were not able to make a scheduled appointment we do require 24 hour notice. Otherwise, you will be subject to a $25.00 missed appointment fee.
Timeliness: Please be on time for your appointments. We understand you time is valuable and we will do our best to see you in a timely fashion. Please understand that emergencies do occur which can delay your appointment.
Services:
In addition to all general pediatric wellness and illness evaluations, we also have a lactation consultant on staff.
We are the only breast milk depot in Rockland County for the New York Milk Bank
